Initial Training

All staff involved in delivery of intensive smoking cessation support must have received training to national standards for smoking cessation training. This is achieved through completing the NCSCT Online Training and Assessment programme for stop smoking practitioners http://www.ncsct.co.uk/publication_training-and-assessment-programme.php and attending a one day face to face training commissioned by Public Health Warwickshire.

The next training date is Thursday 16th May 2019 at Camden House, Warwick Road, Kenilworth CV8 1TH please contact Harriet Masters if you would like to book a place on the course or you can complete the booking form here

harrietmasters@warwickshire.gov.uk or tel 01926 742478

We also recommend colleagues complete the NCSCT training module on very brief advice on smoking (VBA), you can access the module here.

Stop smoking practitioners should refresh their training every 2 years by completing the NCSCT Online Training and Assessment programme for stop smoking practitioners http://www.ncsct.co.uk/publication_training-and-assessment-programme.php
